Red Ruth repaint

by Lorraine Beigley - 12:28 on 07 February 2016

After 16 years in the water Red Ruth is finally getting a new coat.  Her old coat has had a few rub downs and polishes over the years.  Each one leaving her looking a bit brighter and happier but, the constant exposure to the elements - salt, sun, etc has taken its toll.  The start of 2016 will see her sporting a new coat of red paint.  We are looking forward to this and will need to get on with the polishing of the stainless fittings to make sure that she is bright and sparkling for her first sail.

Peter I have just picked this up. I should have contacted you before, but better late than never. The Madeira regatta looks great, plenty of boats on the water and Sun as well. I have renamed my Sadler 32 from Befram back to "Crannog of Lossie" or simply CRANNOG. She has been on the hard for the last two weeks, After today she will be ready to go back into the water, however probably will go in next week. I have been hampered by the weather, which has been atrocious for this time of the year. Good luck to 2016. I am planning at least one trip to Orkney this year, possible two.
